This hotel was recommended to us by one of the locals as we were travelling through. Huma who greeted us at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. The room was very big with an extra room with a table and chairsx4 to eat and visit in. It was very clean. The breakfast was very nice fresh hot food. The staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again. The room rates were very reasonable. Also there was a nice courtyard in the back of the hotel.
Absolutely one of the best places I have stayed. Chuck checked us in late due to an unimaginable night at another place,and he is absolutely the sweetest guy. Not to mention Cody the GM is amazing and sweet. Yeah it may not be the " prettiest" place to stay but to me, attitude, kindness, understanding,and not yelling at customers,is a big thing for me. Thank you both for making out night and morning better than the last. (May26-27,2024)
This hotel served our purpose, economical and the room was just fine for us clean and comfortable near enough for the hot springs short drive to mt Rushmore and all the things between there and rapid city lots and lots to do and jalapeño grill had some awesome food it is across the road from the hotel
I think the mattresses should be replaced or they should get new bed frames that fit the mattresses. The sheets don't fit the mattresses well, but atleast they didn't fall off. The pillows are extremely lumpy like there are fiber balls or wadded up sheets in the pillow cases. The drain for the sink wouldn't drain the water and not sure if a plunger would do the job. It isn't a bad nights stay here since we didn't stay longer than a night, but it definitely could stand a few upgrades. I would stay again if just driving through. The employees were friendly. Just hard to sleep well with the pillows. Pet friendly which is always important to me.
Rooms had some dated issues but we're clean. Great location and cheap!
I stayed here July and August summer of 2023 I had a great room. The staff were very nice. They were short at that time of housekeepers, but that was fine with me because I only wanted my room cleaned once a week, location was great. Just a few blocks up the street from the main strip. I had a great stay, I would definitely stay there again if I was in the Hot Springs area.
It was absolutely lovely. Stay USA serves great breakfast and coffee. The hotsprings are near by and Jalapeño grill is across the street along with the Mammoth site which was spectacular to visit. I had a blast!!
Check in was smooth, not the lower price I was quoted on phone during reservation, but was reasonable. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfy, pillows were lumpy. A few minor things (peeling wallpaper in shower, missing/broken corner protectors in room) need to be addressed. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Had to request a receipt at checkout. Front desk person was in charge of breakfast items and area simulatiously due to staffing shortage. Door for breakfast area was propped open, was chilly in room making food get cold quickly.
